Three Patents by Hvonik Successfully Accepted – A New Milestone in Innovation

Table of Contents

We’re proud to announce that Hvonik has recently achieved another significant milestone in research and development — with two invention patents successfully accepted and one utility model patent officially granted by the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA).

These breakthroughs represent major progress in the areas of cooling technology, portability, and automated testing for X-ray sources, reinforcing our position as a leading innovator in the industry.

Patent Highlights

1.Integrated X-ray Source Device with Hybrid Cooling

This invention discloses an integrated X-ray source device with hybrid cooling, falling within the field of high-voltage X-ray sources. The device includes an X-ray tube, electronic control unit, filament circuit, high-voltage circuit, and a cooling module. The cooling module integrates a thermal conductive medium and thermopump heat-conducting materials. The X-ray tube, driven by the filament and high-voltage circuits, uses single-end grounding with the high-voltage output circuit GND connected to the overall equipment GND. The X-ray tube is directly in contact with the conductive medium and thermopump material. The electronic control unit connects to the X-ray tube to receive feedback signals and perform comprehensive calculations. Based on the results, it selects the appropriate cooling medium and method. By combining thermopump materials, a single-ended high-voltage output design, and an internal electronic control unit, the device achieves closed-loop control and multiple protection mechanisms, significantly enhancing heat dissipation and operational safety.

2.Portable X-ray Machine for Osteoporosis Detection

This invention discloses a portable X-ray machine designed for osteoporosis detection, belonging to the medical equipment field. The machine operates on a wide-range low-voltage power supply (18–26V), using a full-bridge inverter and high-voltage transformer for primary voltage boosting, followed by a single-ended Cockcroft-Walton voltage multiplier for secondary boosting, achieving an output voltage of 30kV–80kV and tube current of 0.1mA–1mA. It adopts pseudo dual-energy imaging, capturing low- and high-energy images and synthesizing multiple frames to reduce artifacts and improve image quality. Accurate dose control and delayed exposure help reduce CCD image noise. The device uses potting insulation and a split-structure design to reduce volume and enhance portability. This multi-technology integration results in a highly efficient, safe, and accurate device with lower radiation costs, ideal for osteoporosis screening.

3. Inspection Device for X-ray Generators (Utility Model Patent)

This utility model discloses a device for inspecting X-ray generators, comprising:

  • A carrying platform, capable of holding multiple X-ray generators;
  • A detection unit, mounted on the platform and consisting of a drive mechanism, a detection receiver, and a controller.

The drive mechanism moves the detection receiver along a preset path with multiple predetermined positions corresponding to each X-ray generator. When the detection receiver reaches a specific position, the controller activates the corresponding generator to emit X-rays, which are then captured and evaluated by the receiver. This system enables simultaneous inspection of multiple generators, significantly improving testing efficiency and reducing costs.
